Oh goshy. Haven't posted in over 3 weeks! Ah wasn't the weather so nice last week? Had a few lovely sunny days, but of course, here in the UK, you don't get sun without a bit of rain. (abit is an understatement for the downfall of rain i got here where i live!) Although i did go strawberry picking with my boyf on Saturday which was loverrrllyy. Felt a bit out of place with there being just families and elderly people. I did have a few cheeky strawbs whilst picking them, but i don't think anyone would be able to resist! I've persuaded some of my friends that we should all go back there in August as they have more things to harvest, and i especially want to pick some sweetcorn for some reason :P does anyone else love those pick your own farms? I couldn't help but accumelate a list of a few items i want for the summer. Every time i look through my wardrobe, i feel like i have nothing to wear! The boyf commented that i have so many clothes that i don't wear, he doesn't understand why i'd want more! I explained that there can never be too many clothes in a girl's life! I feel like i need a few summery purchases to get me into the mood and reinspire me. I admit, my daily outfit is now just a plain ole vest and skinny jeans. I never ever use to wear jeans but at the moment, i just feel like i've lost my sense of style. I need to pick it back up! Hopefully with the help of a couple of cheeky purchases, pay day friday! 1. Navy Spot Playsuit £30I'm in love with all playsuits at the mo. I want to buy a bunch for the summer. They're so cute! Although the fact that it's quite a bit of effort to go to the toilet in them is a little bit of a pesk. 2. Purple stripe bikini top & bottoms £24.99Of course, you can't go without summer without getting yourself a new bikini.(not in my books anyway) I love the colour of it and the price isn't too bad. Definitely motivates me a bit more to try and get a "bikini body". 3. Coral Ruched Dress £46 Coral is such a lovely colour. I have a wedding to attend next month and don't want something too eye drawing yet still a little formal. I might try and see if they have it in my local Topshop to try it on. Apparently it's a little low cut according to the reviews. (liking that they've introduced a rating system) 4. Floral Tie Belt Shorts £30 As you know, i'm a sucker for bows. I think this pair are so adorable! I don't think i'd buy it for myself as they'd draw attention to my big ass and thunder thighs, but i couldn't NOT feature them. 5. Butterfly and Flower headband £12.50 This is so pretty! i fell in love with it when i saw it on the website. 6. Floral Print Bag £29.99 In the summer, i prefer to carry smaller bags and this is a perfect size. 7. Nautical Stripe Wedges £29.50 So surprised when i saw this pair in M&S. I just so happen to spot them whilst buying some underwear there. I love how they do half sizes in Marks because i'm always finding it hard to find shoes that fit perfectly because i'm always in between sizes. They're actually quite high but sooo comfy. I'm just waiting till (hopefully) they come back in stock with my size. What are your summer must haves? Okay well i'm off to make myself some dinner and settle down and watch some SATC. Ah i love it! Have a beautiful weeks guys! Love love x Labels: Wishlist Mookie's Retail Therepy.

Currently addicted to - Dried Mango Woooooo! It's the weekend. YUS. Finally. Although I actually have to babysit most of tomorrow but ah well. I just hope my ickle sister is in a good mood tomorrow and won't give me too much trouble. She's reached the stage where she doesn't STOP talking. Even sings on the toilet seat. Its so cute until you really want a lie in and then get woken up by high pitched singing. Ahhhh. I've been good and deposited moneysss into my savings. So much for saving up this year. I've only managed to save around £500. But it's definitely better than nothing. There was a girl in front of me in the queue, wearing leggings like they're trousers. This is a serious pet peeve of mine. I could see her knickers through it, and waaayyy to much butt definition. I don't understand! It baffles me how these girls think this looks good? Knicker lines, butt cracks and camel toes out on show is never a good look. I like to think of leggings as thick tights. Worn under dresses/skirts which might be a tad short, but still covers up your bum. Jeggings, i might let it slide, but not tight cotton leggings. Sorry, just my personal view! >_< I also went to see Paul on wednesday. I wasn't expecting much because it didn't seem like my type of movie. But surprisingly, i found it quite enjoyable. I really liked to humour, not like the obvious, in your face jokes and puns you see alot nowadays. It has a lot of secret geeky jokes. My boyfriend was quoting all these bits in the film and i didn't have a clue, but he laughed his head off. But yeah, i recommend it for you girlies to take your boyfriends to. I don't do this much. I must admit, i used to...alot! I'd buy new things every week. With everything in easy access from my bedroom, I'd spend hours browsing the web for pretty items to adorn my wardrobe. Obviously, I won't be buying every item in this. But a girl can dream eh? and maybe hint to others for future present ideas hehe. 1. Suedette Shorts - Awear £25 I love anything with bows. And this is no exception. I also love the paperbag and scallop hemmed shorts available in high st stores right now. 2. Blush Stack Heel Loafer - Miss Selfridge £48 This is so adorable. I love the colour and detailing of this. Would look lovely with dresses. 3. Lace Dress - H&M £34.99 I spotted this in store and fell in love. I wish they have petite sizing in H&M because this dress is too long for me, as is the case with a lot of their other more formal dresses. 4. Wedges - H&M £24.99 I have a soft spot for all things nautical. I want this for the summer, but can imagine it might be a little hard to walk in due to the angled front. I actually like this other pair but they haven't stocked it on the site. Boo. 5. Dahlia Top Stitch Collar And Button Front Tea Dress - Asos £65 I found all the Dahlia dresses sooo pretty. I want them all! But with the given price tag, I can't afford to spend that amount on a dress right now. Ahhh lush. Check out the dahlia range here. 6. Time for Tea Brooch - Accessorize £9 A representation of my love for tea! I want to buy this to add to my handbag :) Thank god it's the weekend. I've been doing overtime and it feels like I'm at work constantly. I really want to go see Wicked in the West End. Does anyone know where i could get cheap tickets for the show? Ps. Seems that most people agree with me that it's so much more upsetting watching an animal die than an actual human (in movies!). I think probably people die in films all the time. One of my silliest film cries is when Mufasa died in The Lion King. Ah it still brings back bad memories for me. Whats the most silliest film moments that you've cried about? I'd love to know! Everyone have a good weekend! Labels: Wishlist CHRISTMAS WISHLIST 01

I couldn't resist making one of these after seeing them around on other blogs. I love seeing what other people want for christmas and adding more to my christmas wishlist :S, which can't be good.I had fun putting this together! I absolutely love the Cloud 9 Collection at paperchase. Everything is so adorable i couldn't resist! So i just made one which consists of the things i like from it, which is basically everything! How cute is the teapot? ahhh i want it! It would be useful in this weather as i rarely like to venture out of my bedroom. And this teapot holds enough for two cups of tea! A) Cath Kidston Wallet I love the pattern on this. And i've been looking for a purse/wallet for a while now and when i spotted this one, it was perfect. I like to have enough space to put all my membership cards and change, and this one seems to have a lot of compartments. B) Disney's Beauty & the Beast DVD&Bly-Ray Do i need an explanation? I love this film so much! Its so sweet. C) iPod Nano 16gb I don't really need this as i have an iPod touch, but i added it to the list anyway! Its much more compact so it'll be easy to carry. And it comes in different colours! D) Swarovski Charm Bracelet and Charms The collection is so sweet. I love charm bracelets as it automatically creates a mission in order to fill it all up! The charms vary from £10 to £60 i believe. E) Lilly Flame Candles Everytime i spot these, i always have to smell them. They smell devine! Its also nice that they're all handmade. I haven't invested in one yet though. Still bringing myself to justify spending that much on one candle. But i wouldn't mind getting it for a present! F) Diorshow Mascara My mum got me this for my birthday a while ago, and after trying a large amount of different mascaras, this one is still my top pick. I have long, but very straight lashes. So straight that even when i curl my lashes, they'll end up being straight in a couple of hours. This mascara has been the only mascara that i have tried which actually keeps my lashes curled till the end of the day. It's a tad on the expensive end, so its on the wishlist for now! G) Benefit Boi-ing Concealer Still one of the best concealers i've tried. I've just finished my pot. Its one of the best concealers which can actually cover up my dark circles, and i have verrryyyy dark circles. Its very pigmented so the concealer can last for ages! H) Urban Outfitters O&O Bow Dress The dress is so niicceee! And i basically love everything that has a bow on it. I) The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook The cupcakes are the best, so when i found that they had a cookbook, i wanted it! Just having a book of pretty cupcake pictures is good enough for me! J) Lush Bubble Bars I love taking baths, especially in this cold weather! And no bath is as good as a lush bath! Last year, they had an offer in store, where if u bought £20 worth of stuff, you get a surprise bag with the value of £20; all in all, £40 worth of lush goodies! After trying their bubble bars, i fell in love. They create so many bubbles and smell gorgeous. I want to try their christmas edition ones for a wintery feel :) I hope you enjoyed this post! And maybe tempting you with more lovely christmas present ideas! Ps. It was supposed to be light snow in my area. I went to see London Boulevard yesterday night and when we got out, the snow was at least 5 inches deep! When i woke up, it was still snowing and everywhere is absolutely covered! Light snow my ass! I might venture out and play in the snow until i become numb. Labels: Christmas, Paperchase, Wishlist |
