DAY TWENTY-FOUR

Monday, 21 February 2011 @ 17:45 | 15 Comments

Day Twenty Four
A photo of something that means a lot to you.

Oh...I haven't done the challenge in a while. Naughty me. But I am determined to finish this! Even though it's taking waayyy longer than the expected 30 days but meh, whose bothered. I've been seeing all these wonderful photos from LFW and it's made me so jealous! All those beautiful people and clothes, I think I'll try and plan to go to the summer LFW.
I also watched Buried yesterday night. I tried to watch it Friday night, but the whole film is so dark that my eyes couldn't cope and made me fall asleep at the ridiculous hour of half 9. I'm a little torn to whether i like it or not. I'm always a bit sceptical when a storyline is alittle basic. There was this one bit which made me giggle where they tried to build up suspense. Like proper DUNDUNDUNDUNDUN...then suddenly he gets one bar of signal. HORRAH! Anyway, still a good hour and a half of watching Ryan Renold's gorgeous face in the dark.
Also watched Hatchi: A Dog's Tale. I haven't slobbered like that in ages! Not since probably The Notebook. Its dogs. They just get to me. They're too cute! Hatchi was based on a true events. I don't want to spoil it for others so i won't get in too much detail! Its a known tale in Japan, and they even have a statue of the dog to symbolise the loyalty between man and his best friend.

Anywho. I was thinking about this, and it made me realise, that apart from Jewellery, I don't have that many objects that i would say that mean a lot to me. Many people have hand me downs and things which represent memories and such, but i guess me (and my family in this case!) like to get rid of clutter any way we can. Although this is a fairly new piece of jewellery, I'd like to say that it means a lot to me. Thats what i love about charm bracelets. I like going through each one and remembering the person that gave me that charm and reflect on their importance in my life. It also feels that I'm wearing a part of them on my wrist. Its also pwetttyyy :P

I was a little peeved over the weekend because i got a bankstatement through telling me they were going to charge me £35 for going into £3.35 into an unarranged overdraft. They didn't even warn me beforehand! I knew that i went into my overdraft so went into the bank earlier last week to add the money in. But the woman failed to tell me the details, so i'm having to pay way more than what i would have in the first place. I wanted rid, so tried to close the account (after paying the charges of course) but nooo, need to wait till they take MY MONEY (which isn't till 9th March). I want them out of my life as soon as possible. I hate santander. My mum went in the other day to consult them about some money that was taken out of her account that she hasn't done herself. They just told her to call the company and tell them to give her a refund. Aren't they even concerned that her card might have been a case of fraud? pah.

Oh and I got bored with my blog title and background, so i changed it slightly. I also got bored of my URL haha. So now it's Milkandmookie.blogspot.com. I think it's screwed up my bloglovin account a bit though :S

I'm off to scoff cake into my mouth. Love love! x

DAY TWENTY-THREE: Your Skincare Regime

Saturday, 15 January 2011 @ 13:30 | 6 Comments

Day Twenty Three:
Your Skincare Regime.

It's finally the weekend! Yaayyy. It's been a good but tiring week. I've been at a work placement with a local atelier. I really enjoyed my experience there, and might consider going back maybe once a week. I wanted to do this post earlier, but every time i came home from work, it was pitch black. I'd rather wait for the time to get some decent lighting for photos than to post crappy flash ones. The lighting in the photos are still quite awful to be honest, it's so gloomy and grey outside :(. Yesterday was the last day i spent with my girlies before they're all going back to uni. Sad timmess. I'm gonna miss them loads. We made some Betty Crockers brownies, and added marshmallows to it to give it a chewy texture. Yummy! We compensated by having a healthy dinner, consisting of salad and some crispy chicken strips :) yuurrr! Need to start getting my 'beach body' ready for the summer. My main aim is to tone up my flabby thighs. Bleerrggghh.

So here it is, my skincare regime. I use different products for the day and night time. I don't use any fancy expensive brands. One, because i can't really afford them and two, because these seem to work for me at the moment anyway. Although i still do have a few spots every now and then but most people do don't they?
a] Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I use this in the evening. Its a great cleanser to get rid of make up and your face feels so clean afterwards. One of the best cleansers ever, been using it for years.
b] Soap & Glory Clean Mary. Morning cleanser. Just started using it, but it's quite nice and smooth. I'm used to cream cleansers, rather than milk. But i'll see how this goes!
c] Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Cleansing Wipes. I use these when i get lazy! Usually after a night out.
d] Superdrug Mud Therapy Mud Masks. These were so cheap, love them! Smell good and do the job. I use the Aloe Vera one for when i have a few spots to get rid off.

e] Boots Botanics Organic Rosewater Toner. Smells lush and leaves it feeling fresh and clean. Love the Botanics range.
f] Boots Botanics Skin Brightening Toner. I use this in the evening to try and even out my skin tone. Because of the ingredients, it makes your skin a bit more sensitive to sunlight. So i thought it would be better to use it as my nightly toner.
g] Boots Botanics Eye Make Up Remover. The best eye make up remover of all time.

h] No7 Protect & Perfect eye cream. This really helps with my undereye circles. And of course to help prevent wrinkles!
i] Johnson's Daily Essentials Day Cream for dry skin. I love this. It's not too heavy and smells lovely. Also the new formula now has SPF15.
k] The Body Shop's Carrot Moisture Cream. I use this when i skin feels really dry. I only use this as a night treatment since it's quite heavy. Looovveee <3 (i don't think it actually smells like carrots though?)
l] Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Oil. I've been suffering from a cold lately so been rubbing my nose constantly, which has lead to my nose being all sore and flakey. I rub a little on dry spots at night and it literally feels like your skin drinks it up. Definitely has helped banish dry skin areas.

Hope that wasn't too boring! I like reading these types of posts to find out what other people use. I'm a skincare fanatic and am always on the look out for new things to use. Which has lead to a big build up in my cupboards :S. Going to make it an aim to not buy new skincare products unless i'm running out. I still have a few to work through!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!

DAY TWENTY-TWO

Wednesday, 5 January 2011 @ 18:00 | 8 Comments

Day Twenty Two:
A photo of you of when you were a child.

Ooops. Haven't posted in a while. >__<. Mainly because i didn't have anything to blog about. I had a very lazy bank holiday weekend, spending it with the boyf. I went to see Megamind finaaallyy. I loved it so much! But then, i do love most cartoons hehe. Who knew Will Ferrell has a good cartoon voice. I used to not like Will Ferrell's films all that much. But he seems to have grown on me. I think he knows what he's best at now, and has improved on the qualities that made him, him. But he's still one of those actors which is kinda the same in every movie, but i prefer him to the likes of Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler. I loved him in The Other Guys. I'm deff gonna get it on DVD!
This weeks is a little hectic. All of my friends are off back to uni soon, so we're trying to cram as many meet ups as possible. I also have this work do this weekend. I've been working there for more than 2 years and haven't been out on a work do, eeevvver. I always back out the last minute because i'm lazy haha. But it's a dinner at this posh place, and because it's being susidised by the company, we only have to pay a fiver. So why not. I probably would never get another chance to dine in such a place.
This 30 day challenge is taking waayy longer than 30 days haha! I think i've been doing good so far. Haven't dropped it yet! I've been putting this post off because i couldn't be bothered to find  and scan in photos of me as a child. But looking through them made me laff. I didn't include baby ones, because i need to keep some dignity! Seriously, i was so freakin fat it's unbelievable. I look like i ate other babies for breakfast, NOM.
Me stealing some Tulips, Mwahahahaha.
Me and my baby boyfriend. I dumped him when i found better looking babies lol. (looking through the photos, and in nearly all of them, he's grabbing hold of me. Clliiinngggyy)
My mum obviously didn't know where the border of TOO MANY FLOWERS was. My trousers, my coat, my hair! I even freakin match the swing. Not good.
I miss that bear :(. Kinda looks like i'm wearing a massive bow tie. I'm not. Thats my dress O_O

Awww. I love looking at other people's baby photos. The first time i looked through my boyf photos, there was this one photo that would forever make me laugh. It was him posing, just after having a bath, totally butt naked, with his hands behind his head, with a proud look on his face. LOL.
I just got a conditional offer from a uni i applied to. I'm on a gap year, so obviously this confused me. I was like, crap, do they want me to do a short course or something? no no. The condition is to visit the bloody uni. ¬_¬

Ps. hope everyone has a good week!

DAY TWENTY-ONE

Friday, 24 December 2010 @ 17:26 | 5 Comments

Day Twenty One:
Something you crave alot.

As it's the Christmas season, i have been craving all sorts! When you say crave, i always think of food. I don't really have any cravings for anything else! I especially have weird cravings during *ahem, my time of the month. I'm not a chocolate lover, so when i crave that, i know that i'm almost on LOL. My friend has this usual craving for milk during her time, haha. Does anyone else get that?
I'm going to have a bit of a list :P cos i'm a fatty and crave everything!

    Mince Pies:
It wouldn't be christmas without eating some naughty mince pies! I prefer puff pastry ones than the shortcrusts. They're so good, especially after just coming out of the oven so they're still warm. I'd love to try and make some myself, but i am terrible at baking and nothing ever comes out right!

   Mulled Wine:
I don't actually like red wine, but mulled wine is an exception! With all the spices and fruit, it definitely gets you into a christmassy mood. I like my alcohol not tasting like alcohol :P. Ahhh. I want some now!

   Starbucks' Christmas Drinks:
These include their delicious Toffee Nut Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Eggnog Latte and my favourite, Gingerbread Latte. I always look forward to these every year, and it's nice that they vary their selection. I always find it best to have these with lots of whipped cream and mini marshmallows (and my usual sprinkling of cinnamon and nutmeg on top). I found this recipe where you can try and recreate Starbucks' Gingerbread Latte at home. I'm not sure if it would taste the same, but i'm sure gonna try! (since they'll be gone soon :'()

   Christmassy Biscuits:
In my rule book, a hot drink can't go without some biscuits to dunk in them! My usual favourite are some gingersnaps, but tis the season so i've been dipping gingerbread men and eating their melting limbs, mwahaha. Cupcakes and Cashmere always posts photos of her amazing baking creations, and am so jealous that mine don't ever look that good. She recently posted a tutorial on sugar cookies and royal icing, and as always, they look perfect. Also, check out her post on making your own marshmallows!

This is probably my last post before christmas. I can't believe it's almost here already! I won't be having the traditional turkey though, but rather, doing it a bit more asian and having hotpot. I haven't had it in a long time, i miss it! I also look forward to giving everyone their presents ^-^.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

DAY TWENTY

Monday, 20 December 2010 @ 17:30 | 3 Comments

Day 20 -
A photo of something that makes you happy.

There were so many photos to choose from for this! Me and my friends love going through photos together and laugh out heads off at all the sillyness. This photo was actually only taken last night at our christmas dinner. It was so nice to have a catch up with everyone and exchange presents to one another. One friend even bought us a calender where she customised it with our own photos! I love it so much as it was really personal, even though she chose the most god awful photos of me!(too many drunken photos!).
As you can see, there are a couple of people who really stand out (ahem, the guy on the top right). I wonder if the waitress taking the photo noticed my friend's pose. There doesn't ever seem to be a photo of everyone looking nicey nicey, but wheres the fun in that?

Short and sweet post. I think i'm going to get into the habit of taking more photos. I used to be obsessed and take my camera EVERYWHERE with me. Nowadays, i find that when i want to take any, i never have a camera! And my phone cam is quite awful. It could be one of my new years revolutions :P

ps. I attempted to bake some gingerbread men. Didn't turn out that bad actually, but i really don't feel like eating them anymore. Booo. I feel like such a fatty over this christmas season! Need to lose abit of this podge.

pps. This also makes me happy. :P

DAY NINETEEN.

Monday, 13 December 2010 @ 17:30 | 4 Comments

Day Nineteen:
Another photo of yourself.

This photo was taken by my lovely bf for a project i had done back in college. I originally asked a friend (who also did art) to help me, but the night before, she txted me that something came up and couldn't do it. Boooo.
But yeah, they came out quite well considerring my bf isn't the best person with a camera lol. I felt bad because i made him wake up early so that we can avoid crowds as i didn't want to have to pose in front of people :S.
It was sooo hot on the day though, i was freakin sweating in this dress. The sun was shining directly above us and i was so tempted to jump in that pond.
This was the first dress i made, from techniques and skills learnt from my pattern cutting class. I wanted to keep the design simple because i didn't want to stress myself out (especially since i wasn't continuing on to do an art degree so i didn't really need an amazing grade). It was surprising how much you have to go through to make a garment though! I made two drafts before this final one to make sure everything fitted properly.

Over the weekend, me and a couple of friends decided to get in touch with our childish side, and made salt dough decorations! We had the whole shebang and went a bit crazy with the glitter. We found it funny that no matter how careful we were with these, they'd always end up looking like kids DID make them. Sorry, i didn't take a photo! I forgot :S. But i think we're planning to have them around the table for our christmas dinner.
Which reminds me that i have finally sorted out this dinner! 21 people altogether, and i had to get everyones deposits AND orders(even so detailed that i had to write down how cooked they wanted their steaks to be). But yes. That stress is over with.

Now i'm off to wrap a whole load of presents my mum has left me to do. But i don't mind. :P i like wrapping presents.

Did everyone have a good weekend? What did you do?

ps. Also a hello to a couple of new followers ^-^, thank you!

DAY EIGHTEEN.

Thursday, 9 December 2010 @ 15:30 | 4 Comments

Day Eighteen:
The meaning behind your blog name.

There really isn't a meaning to my blog name. I was really stuck on what to name my blog at first. I'm the sort of person that changes their mind on usernames all the time. When i was younger, i had so many different email addresses it was crazy. And not any good ones either! They were along the lines or x_cutie...and so on. O__O. So embarrassing. But i think a lot of girls have gone through that phase too!
Anyway, the reason why my blog is called what it is, is because i love Hello Kitty, like most oriental girls! I'm not extreme though, but i still dream to have a room decorated only with Hello Kitty themed items!
Mookie is a kind of nickname me and my friend had for eachother. We don't call eachother by these names though. It's all very odd. We were young and wanted cool sounding nicknames. We made a joint youtube account aggggeeess ago so we didn't want to reveal our real names on there so we went by these alias names. But yeah, a very very long time ago so don't start looking because it's not there haha. (i just searched the name on youtube and it comes up with this male basketball player, LOL)

I got this for a xmas present years ago. Its from Build a bear workshop, or whatever it's called now. I think its so ridiculous that they sell clothes for their soft toys too! She came with the dress, a bow bracelet and a bag. She looks weird naked! Its not right! I feel like she's too exposed >_<. They sell an exotic hello kitty there now. How would her fur turn brown from the sun though? Confuses me. (sorry about the horrible chipped nails!)

This was a useless post O__o.
I'm gonna go off and cook some edamame beans. NOMNOM.

DAY SEVENTEEN.

Wednesday, 8 December 2010 @ 18:00 | 3 Comments

Day Seventeen:
10 things you want to do before you die.

1. Travel around to as many places as possible.
I think nearly everyone want to do this. I realise that i cannot travel to every country in the world, but i'd like to tick off as many places as possible :) I love experiencing other cultures.
Photo taken of a food stand in the famous Barcelona market i went to this year.

2. Ride in a hot air balloon.
I think this is so romantic. It would be so beautiful to see everything from above. Its not the same as when you're in a plane as you only get to peak out of the tiny aircraft window!

3. Have a family.
So cheesy i know! But i love the idea of having my own family in the distant future. With a loving husband and kids, living in a beautiful home. But thats later in life! I'll just concentrate on my own life for now!

4. Hold my own Christmas Dinner.
God. I know. My list so far is pretty awful haha. I've been watching all these christmas shows *ahem Kirsty & Phil's Perfect Christmas* and it makes me want to try everything! Obviously, coming from an asian background, christmas isn't that big in my family. I'd like to attempt at cooking a christmas dinner feast and decorating the whole house all christmassy! I spent 3 christmasses ago with a friend's family, and they did the whole traditional thing, and loved it. So i want to share that experience with the rest of my family.

5. Go skiing and snowboarding.
A couple of my friends have done this and they've said its one of the best experiences. I'd probably fail big time, but at least i could say i tried! It looks so fun and exhilarating.

6. Go on a massive holiday with all my friends.
Hopefully this will happen next year! Me and my friends plan to rent out a villa in spain, portugal or anywhere hot to be honest! It'll be nice to go where everyone can relax, and where we can absolutely get plastered and not care about getting up for work the next morning! And of course, enjoying that blazing sun. ^-^

7. Ride an elephant and a camel.
I know that this is kinda two but shhh. Let me get away with it. I think this would be such an amazing experience! So far, i've only ridden a donkey, which was when i was like 6? Lol. Hmm.
8. Attend as many festivals as possible!
I've been to 2 festivals so far, which is such a crap number compared to proper festival goers. So i want to go to at least one festival a year for the rest of my life! Me and a couple of friends are thinking of going to Download this year. I usually can't go because it's always held when exams are, but i have this year all free from that so i want to take advantage :)
I was going to post a photo of me and this guy wearing a massive scooby doo costume from when i went to Reading, but i realised i really don't look very nice! Especially after not washing for a couple of days O__O ewwww. I was on a supply of baby wipes and dry shampoo :P

9. Have a job in something i love.
This is a funny point because i still don't know what i consider to be my dream job! But i really want to find something that i love, and make a living off it. I don't want to be rich from it, but i'd like to be successful.

10. Sell a piece of my own artwork.
This probably would never happen but i can wish! I don't really do art anymore, but just make little crafts for my own use, and of course for friends. But maybe one day, i might be able to perfect my crafts and sell them on a stall at a local craft fair or something :)

(via) I wanted to post this because its so cute!

ps. i saw one of theeee worse films yesterday. It was a british "horror" film, called "Tormented", bloody hell, It was about a bunch of kids who were being hunted down by a kid they used to bully. The thing was, he was dead, BUT he came back for revenge. In the end, all the kids but one were killed, and the one that survived was framed for these murders and sent to prison. And then it just ended! No explanation of why he came back alive..nothing. Absolute shite. Why do people even get to make these kind of films. Waste of money and time!

pps. Heads up for The Body Shop offer online at their website. Its 30% of ALL orders and Free standard delivery. ;)

DAY SIXTEEN

Tuesday, 7 December 2010 @ 18:00 | 3 Comments

Day Sixteen:

Whats in your bag?

Finally! Have gotten back on track with the 30 day blog challenge. I've been putting it off.I'm not sure why.:S
I change my bags often. I have to admit i have too many bags. So i justify this addiction by swapping them over. Also, it depends where i'm going. I usually carry smaller bags if i'm just popping down the road or going over to a friends as i don't need much. This bag is my usual bag that i take to work.

Bag: Next
1. My glasses!
Case from Paperchase. I need new glasses though. Bored of my frames and my prescription has changed. My sight has gotten worse. Boooo :(
2. My bag in a bag
which holds my little fiddlies!
3. Minnie Mouse Umbrella!
Because british weather is so crap! I bought this on sale for like £7 i think? It was £20, so it was a bargain. It's lasted longer than other small, compact umbrellas which usually get blown inside out and dies! So i recommend Totes umbrellas!
4. My very very old purse.
Its so discoloured O_O. I asked for a new one for xmas so hopefully i get one!
5. Maoam!
M-A-O-A-M. That advert still sticks in my head! I have a serious sweet tooth so my bag usually has some sort of sweet in it!
6. Primark Headband.
This was so cheap! Its so cosy too and keeps your ears so warm. I'm liking the headbands that are around right now. I think they're a great alternative to hats especially when you've tied your hair up!
7. My Blackberry curve and case.
I love my blackberry! I also bought the case off amazon for like £3. So cheap. It was plain black, so i customised it with so fimo sticks cut offs and stuck them on with super glue.
8. My keys.
of course.
9. A book i've just finished reading.
I tried to return it yesterday to the library but it was bloody closed. pah. The book was alright. I like reading chick lit and 'fun' books.
I also had tissues, but i don't think you'd appreciate seeing that!

1. Christmas Dinner Booking Form.
Me and my friends always organise a dinner out around christmas time. Its nice because it's when we give eachother presents and have a good ole catch up. This year, we chose to go to Harvester as we're all fed up of having italian every year. But this time, there are 21 people coming! And i had the great job of organising it all. ¬_¬
2. Money.
I'm poor because of present buying! So this is all the cash that i have in my purse lol.
3. Personal Id Cards.
16-25 railcard - This has saved me so much money!
College card - I don't even go to college anymore but i try and use this for student discount (which has worked a few times!) and it doesn't have an end date, Mwaahaha.
Driving License - I passed my test more than a year back but i haven't driven since, so i've probably forgot how to drive. But my bf is putting me on his insurance this year so hopefully i can regain my skills again hehe.
4. Membership Cards.
This is the main reason why i need a big purse. LOL.
I'm looking forward to using my boots card points because i've manage to rack up £33 on there now, so hopefully i can have a bit of a splurge soon.
5. Voucher for twinings tea!
Why not eh? I love my tea. I got this when i ordered a free sample on the twinings website. Go get some free tea bags people!
6. Receipts.
I always have so many receipts lying around. I haven't thrown these away because their xmas present purchases. So just in case something goes wrong, i still have the receipt for them :)
1. Locker key.
For work :)
2. Gum.
3. Carmex cherry Lipbalm.
Seriously one of the best around! But what i don't like is the packaging cos i always have to dig my nails into it to get some out. I prefer the tube version but they didn't have the cherry version in tube form!
4. Hello kitty compact mirror.
5. Carex Anti-bacterial Hand Gel.
This is a must for me! Theres so many times that i have been saved (LOL) by this bottle.
6. Johnson & Johnson's Hand Cream.
7. Melon bag.
I always carry this around because you never know whether you're going to go shopping for food. I like to do my bit for the environment and try not to use plastic bags as much as poss. Its so small and hardly takes up any room in your bag so i recommend you invest in one. They're really cheap on Ebay. Also, its so cute!
8. Pen.
9. Pain killers.
I myself don't usually use these. Its usually for others sake really but i carry it just in case. :)

MAAAN. This was a long post. Sorry for boring ye all! But i wanted to show everything if any of youse were curious. I love watching whats in my bag videos. They also show what kind of person they are. I thought it would had been so much easier to film myself, but i'm not quite comfortable with that atm!

Love love! x

DAY FIFTEEN

Saturday, 27 November 2010 @ 18:53 | 2 Comments

Day Fifteen:
Something you don’t leave the house without.

OHMYGOSH. Day 15. Which means i'm halfway through the challenge yaaaayyy.
I thought about this, and for me, it was such an obvious answer. Other people's answer to this question was mainly their phone or iPod. I must admit, i am a little lost without them but can still survive. I'm a forgetful person and leave my phone at home and don't realise until i'm out the door [ I usually panic a little in my head, but by the time i get home, i don't have any messages anyway :( ] And as for my iPod, i don't always need it unless i know i'll be by myself; shopping or travelling etc.

So my answer is...

My Keys!
Yus yus. Obvious, but everywhere i go, i will always need this. My family isn't home much during the day, and if i forgot these, then i'd be locked out for a very long time. I live in a block of flats, so one of the keys is to the main building door, then one for my front door, and the chubb key for the bottom lock. I have a cupcake dangly on there that i made and a cherry one i bought from Spain. But my favouritest of course is my totoro!

Sho cute. This was a present from a friend. She came back with a whole bunch of keyring things when she went to Hong Kong. He's actually very helpful. Apart from adorning my keys with his chubby cuteness, he's fairly big, so whenever i have to fish around for my keys in my bag, i just feel around for this squishy thing.

I feel like this is a bit of a boring and pointless post. LOL. Hmm, nevermind.

ps. I also tried "The 5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake" yesterday night. [Recipe Here]. I thought it tasted quite good! Of course it's not exactly like a proper chocolate cake, but i like the texture of it. It was gooey and moist, so a bit like a brownie? maybe. It's very easy so i suggest you try this if you have the ingredients lying around. Its like a quick pick me up for times when you can't be bothered. (Theres oil in the recipe which i was a little put off by, so i decreased it by a tbsp.) If you do try this, tell me what you think! Whether you liked it or not...

DAY FOURTEEN

Friday, 26 November 2010 @ 18:00 | 0 Comments

Day Fourteen:
A TV show you’re currently addicted to.

Oh i have so many again! I've been following Misfits (Buff simon?! :O), Gossip Girl, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and How i met your mother (Bit much? Obviously have a bit too much time on my hands here). But at this very moment, The Big Bang Theory has a slight upperhand. Only because i watched one episode the other day which made me laugh so much. (It's the 2nd episode in the new season, where sheldon tries to preserve his body so that he could live longer).

Via Google Images

My favourites are Sheldon and Leonard. I don't really like Walowitz (unsure of the spelling) and the girl's acting is a little iffy, but it still makes me giggle. And don't the guys look so different out of character?

DAY THIRTEEN

Day Thirteen:
Your Favourite Musician and Why?

Oh i hate choosing favourites! It always changes depending on my mood etc.
At the moment, I'm getting into a little dubstep, drum and bass and all that shiz. I never thought i would ever, but the more i listen to it, the more i get into it; and always gets me in the mood to go clubbing! I know that this isn't to everyone's taste, and if you have a headache right now, i recommend you skip listening to these!

DAY TWELVE

Tuesday, 23 November 2010 @ 19:08 | 0 Comments

Day Twelve:
15 Random Facts about you.

1. I'm 3/4 Vietnamese and 1/4 Chinese. My Grandfather is chinese. Regrettably, I can't read or write Vietnamese as my parents didn't send me to a Vietnamese language school for some reason. I can speak the language though. But being born in England, my english is much better.
2. I don't actually have many Vietnamese friends! I live in an area populated with a lot of caucasian people, so it's rare to meet another oriental person (whose not a student coming over here to study English).
3. I'm a massive fan of Family Guy and own all 9 seasons on dvd.
4. I'm only 4'11 tall. Even for an asian thats small! It's annoying because my friends like to tease me about it. Also i look so much more younger than my actual age because of it.
5. I have very flexible hands. I can fold my hand forward to touch my wrists. So far, the only people i know that can do this are my dad and myself. (if you can do this let me know!). I can also spread my index and middle finger pretty wide. I can do the widest peace sign LOL. It freaks my bf out.
6. I am terrible with first impressions. Everyone is terrified of me when they first meet me. I have this problem of talking constantly and being very forward. I even bully people slightly O_o. I always do it jokily but i don't realise at the time that they probably believe i'm serious.
7. I have a ickle 2 year old sister. Theres a massive 17 year gap between us! The gap is also the same between me and our mum. My sister is one of the funniest people i know. She makes me laugh everyday. She likes to wake me up singing Ba Ba Black Sheep at the top of her lungs.
8. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years and 10 months. Next goal is 4 years! It definitely doesn't feel like we've been together this long. I can't imagine life without him.
9. So far, the countries i have visited includes Vietnam x4, Hong Kong x2, China, Paris x2, Spain, Thailand, Dominican Republic and Greece. I want to travel so much more.
10. I have a serious sweet tooth. I eat so many sweets and actually prefer them to chocolate! I eat loads of fruits as well, which is why i hate going to the dentists because she always tells me to cut down. NO. I don't want tooooooo.
11. I get extremely annoyed with people who are slow. Especially when walking. Fair enough you're window shopping or what not, but it does not give you the excuse of taking up the whole bloody damn pavement. And it especially grinds my gears when they sway from side to side? Wth, walk straight you! There are other people who want to get somewhere.
12. I don't like to have favourites. I hate having to choose ONE thing. For example, I don't have a favourite colour, or a favourite dish, or a favourite tv show. I like too many things. haha.
13. None of my friends or family know about this blog. I can just imagine to torment, teasing and eyebrow raising that will go on! Most of my close friend's don't have the same interests, which is a bit odd haha.
14. I'm organised. But not very tidy. If that makes sense. Organised mess.
15. I'm a little obsessed with food content and its percentages. I always look at the bar that they have on the front packaging of food. Its a really bad habit of mine and if it contains too much of something, i won't buy it. I always have to have a quick look at the calories :S.

Dammnn, That was hard!
